Ugh, someone beat my wireless with a stick or something for me? For about four days now it's been acting up, cutting out a lot. Basically it doesn't work for more than half an hour or forty-five minutes at a time. -__-;;

Anyway.

Yesterday I watched Splinter. It's about these people who are attacked by a parasitic organism and end up trapped in a gas station. The organism itself takes over people's bodies and basically forms quills/splinters inside them and breaks them down in the most painful possible way, then eats their blood. Awesome. It was really good, and unique as well. Here's a trailer for anyone who's interested:


I've also recently watched the new Transformers movie. ASDGH TRANSFORMERS = ♥♥♥ I know that die hard fans were really disappointed by it, but I loved it. I grew up with Transformers, but I can still watch the new movies and look at them as completely separate from the original TV series. A lot of people can't do that, unfortunately. *shrug*

And now I'm watching the new Ice Age movie. I'm a horrible downloader. But I'll be buying all these movies on DVD after Otakon at some point anyway, lol. XD;

Also, Otakon is coming up so fast! I keep having random panic attacks about the airport since I've never flown anywhere before. DX I know it'll be fine, but I keep going dgahdfuaigh what if I get lost or miss my flight or something? >.<;; Note to self: Stop being such a spaz over the whole thing. >>;

1) Watching Transformers. Again. XD; Man, I love this movie. I'm such a geek. I did end up mailing 300 back to Columbia House. If I'm curious enough to want to watch it, Dad says he has a copy I can have, or I can borrow it from my brother.

2) Tri seems to be feeling a bit better, I hadn't really noticed before but I guess he was acting lethargic. He's had a few doses of the antibiotics now, and today he's a bit more energetic. He's never been a super-excitable cat, though, so even when he's normal he just lies around all day and looks happy. lol.

3) One of my cats pissed on the couch today. I don't know which one, but I'm relatively sure it was Loki... I have no proof though, so I can't do much about it. I didn't even catch it until it had all soaked in, either, so all I could do was blot up as much as I could, then pour vinegar over it and soak that up as well, then spray it with a ton of febreeze. Maybe I'll flip the futon mattress over next time I can get someone to help me with it.

4) RP; Kyo's still off with Zelos. Hika and Kao are about to be propositioned by Yuui on C.C.'s account (lmao), and Demy got sucked into dancing with Rufus at the Halloween party and had to be rescued by Zexion so they could go home. XD;

Speaking of Rufus... AHAHA. In RP-verse Demy's with Zexy, but in AIM-verse he has this thing with Rufus where they spend time together and screw but there's not much else. Or, there wasn't until recently. Now they're all... cute and fluffy. O__o;

They also sent me 300, which was a director's selection a while back... and I'm sure I declined it because I really have no interest in it. I'm gonna not open it and contact them, because if I can return it and not have to pay for it since I don't really want it anyway.

Hmm. If that doesn't work I guess I can pay and then find someone to give it to for Christmas. I'm too happy about Transformers to even be really annoyed with CH right now, eheh! XD;;

Man, another catch-up post. And I still have to deal with all my backlogged photoblogging photos too. >>; I'll do that later I guess. So!

1) Transformers is out on DVD now, and I don't have it yet. D: I ordered it through Columbia House, but I have to wait for it to get here. That's what I hate about CH, there's no "I'm buying this movie now and taking it home to watch immediately", you have to wait for it to get to you. Bah.

2) Grandma! ...is feeling much better the last few days. It makes me happy, because I was really worried about her, she was so depressed and was feeling sick and everything. She's taking her driver's test again tomorrow, so GANBATTE GRANDMA. I'm sure she'll do well now that she's feeling better. :3

3) Tetsuya's temp. wig, his new eyes (metallic red and black), and one pair of his shoes and one outfit have come in. Haha, his wig came in yesterday and I picked it up today at the same time as I was mailing his head away for his face-up. D'oh! xD; So I can't even try it on him until he gets back, haha.

On a related note, I mailed him airmail so he should get to aiko_yamada in a few days. I'm really pissed and worried though, because I asked for $200 worth of insurance on the package, and they can't give you insurance unless you mail express, which was like $50. I can't afford that. That's $100 for shipping both ways, never mind the insurance on top of that, so I had to just mail him airmail and hope for the best. Aiko, can you mail airmail down there and get insurance when you're sending him back? I'll send you extra money for it if you can.

4) When I bought Tetsuya's new eyes, I got him red and black because he needs both depending on his mood. Shut up I know he's a doll. >>; While I was at it, I also randomly bought a pair of metallic cobalt eyes just because they were so pretty. I have no use for them, but I still <3 them. I'm an idiot! XD

I also really like the animated eyes Volks have. More this type than the other two.

5) I bought sake today! :D Why? Because I randomly decided I'm going to make oden, and I need some for the broth. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to buy it though, because I have no photo ID and I look younger than I am, so I made my step-dad come in with me... and then no one questioned it. Yay? XDD;

6) Man, Rizu has been... it's just been Rizu. XD; Things are going so well, and we have tons of characters and it's lots of fun. Also lots of random pairings. Rufus/Demyx FTW last night. xDD;; It was actually pretty hot. >>;

Hmm, so far I've got Hikaru, Demyx and Kyo; Hika is all wrapped up in Kao as usual, but that's not a surprise. Right now they're going as commoner schoolgirls to a Halloween party. ^^; Then Demy is at the same party, along with Zexion, and he's dressed as Aquaman but Zexy doesn't have a costume, the spoilsport. The two of them are also sharing a bed at night right now because Zexy has no furniture yet. .__.; Demy's all embarrassed because it turns out he's a snuggler in his sleep. XD; And Kyo... is making enemies easily, of course. He works as a waiter (just because I thought it was hilarious), and just argues with Ludwig whenever they encounter each other. AND PWNZ HIM TOO, I MIGHT ADD firebird_88 BWAHAHA. >D

7) Most of my catch-up photoblogging photos will be of Tetsuya I think. I have to go through the ones I've taken, but I'm pretty sure I've been snapping pics of him a lot lately. Is anyone surprised? >>;

8) Man... I have to pack up some of my ponies. They're everywhere, taking up space on all my shelves and stuff, which I don't mind so much... except I have nowhere to put new ponies when I make them! ^.^;; So I guess I'll pack up the ones I've got finished for AN and store them away until the con next May. That way I can fill my shelves again. Also, turns out Kanda-mun comes to AN every year and we saw each other this past con~ X3 It's a small world after all~ *music note*

9) Phantom has been really affectionate lately. O.o I mean, affectionate for her; compared to Pagan she's still not super cuddly. But earlier tonight she was out to play and I got her some cheerios (she <3s cheerios, especially the ones with dried berries in them) for a treat, and instead of waiting until I could set them on the ground for her, she actually hopped up into my lap and ate them from my hand! It's the first time she's ever come up into my lap on her own! =3 So I fed her like half a box of friggin cereal because I was so happy. XD;

Transformers was freaking awesome~ XD

This evening, I was down in the kitchen chopping veggies to freeze; green pepper, celery and cabbage. I freeze those and onion so that when I need them for soup/stew/etc. all I have to do is just go to the freezer and grab a handful. <3

Anyway, so I'm chopping stuff, and Sarah comes out of her room with the phone in her hand and goes "Ryuu just called, do you have her number?"

And I'm like... "uh, yeah. When did she call?"

To which she replied, "about ten minutes ago."

...right. Why didn't I get that call? Because she was on the phone as fucking always! The stupid thing being that she went out and GOT US CALL WAITING so that I wouldn't miss calls since she's on the phone pretty much every second she's awake.

So I asked why she didn't tell me, and she told me "I was on the phone." Well FUCK, Sarah! Then why the hell do we even HAVE the call waiting?? You got it without asking me, I'm paying for half of it, and you pull this shit??

I snapped at her and basically said all of the above. And her response is (get this) "I didn't pick up because I didn't recognise the name."

Oh REALLY. Then tell me, dear Sarah, if you didn't recognise the name, how did you know it was Ryuu who called?

...on the plus side, when I got back to Ryuu a few minutes later, she asked if I wanted to go see Transformers with her on Saturday afternoon. And I went \o/ HELL YES! Haha, I have to pay with twonies and loonies, but I don't care~~

That's the most important thing that happened today, wtf life. xD; Hmm...

This afternoon I took a walk down to the post office to mail Axel!pony. Express mail was ten cents more than regular mail so I sent it express, which means he's guaranteed to get to his new owner by Friday. I guess we'll see how well he ships, ne? *crosses fingers*

Then I got new black paint for accents on Zero!pony, so I'm going to try to get him finished up tonight... though it's looking like I'll probably finish him tomorrow night instead. Close enough.

It was a nice day out, and not super hot because it was bordering on rain all day, so the sun wasn't out much. Though it was quite humid, so my asthma was going RAWR!! all day. >>;

EDIT:: Oh, and for anyone who's interested, Primeval was an awesome movie. XDD; You can't go wrong with giant-ass crocodiles! I can't decide if it kind of leaned toward B-Grade or not... maybe a little. The best line in the whole movie was "I'd never say this to a white guy, but slavery was a good thing; whatever you have to do to get the fuck out of Africa's fine with me!" So not PC, but it made me laugh. XD

Now I have to get ahold of C.A. and drag her to see Transformers with me. >.>
