Mom and Lee stole my cat. Literally. =/

Tanya dropped Chasca off this morning, and then this afternoon when Mom and Lee were over Lee saw her and FELL IN LOVE. Now, he used to claim not to be a cat person. But the way he fawned all over this kitten was hilarious.

Anyway, turns out Lee has been talking about her ever since, and I was just on the phone with Mom and we talked about it... and they're going to take her. It's kind of funny actually. XD;; They'll probably name her something other than Chasca, and since I've only had her here for about 12 hours she doesn't know the name anyway. Apparently Tanya used to call her Tubby because when she was born she had a fat butt. xD;

It might seem strange that I'd be so willing to give her away this fast, but honestly, the look on Lee's face when he was petting her? He probably wants her more than I do, which is saying something. And I know for a fact they'll take excellent care of her and spoil her rotten. Plus I'll be able to see her whenever I want anyway. ♥

Haha, I'll have had a cat named Chasca for about 24 hours!

Maybe I'll look for another kitten at the shelter once I'm done unpacking and settling everything around here. ♥

I got my hair cut yesterday. It's not super short like last time, but kind of a bob-cut, but with the front longer than the back. I like it... however. My hair has a tendency to flip outward when it's short, which it is doing with a vengence, so now if I want my hair to look really nice I have to blowdry it and use the curling iron and hairspray. *facepalm* Oh well. Most days I don't care if it spikes up and flips out, and if I do want it to look nice it's short enough it shouldn't take too long to style. Photos later.

Phantom, my rabbit who hates everyone of the human persuasion, and has ever since I got her because she was massively undersocialized as a baby, likes my brother. Phantom likes my brother. WUT? I don't get it. Whenever anyone else (including me, and I've had her for five years and never done nothing but shower her with affection) picks her up or touches her, she panicks and hyperventilates, shakes and grunts and wheezes because she's so freaked out. Yesterday I got my brother to help me clip her nails and she was like :3 in his lap the entire time. ASDGH WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?! I JUST WANT HER TO LIKE ME! ;A;

Finally... my step-dad got a call a couple of days ago that one of his friends, Wally, had a heart attack. Aparently, he called 911, but when the paramedics got there, he was out of it. They had to put a breathing tube in, and when they did his heart stopped; it was stopped for fifteen minutes while the paramedics worked on him on the way to the hospital. They got his heart started up again, and he's in the ICU. As of yesterday they were waiting to see if he had brain damage... and today they did some scans, and he does have a lot of it from lack of oxygen when his heart was stopped. He hadn't woken up, and at this point if he doesn't improve by Monday they're planning to pull the plug.

It's really hard on Lee, since Wally is his close friend, and they've known each other most of their lives. They got together last weekend to play music together. Wally was even set to open a restaurant in two weeks, which is something he's been planning forever.

I'm worried about Lee, and so is Mom and my brother. I don't know how I really feel, it's weird because even I've known Wally for eighteen years. He's a really nice guy, and a good person, a good friend. He used to make me laugh when I was a kid. He doesn't deserve this... I hope he'll be okay, but realistically I know it's not likely. It's really sad...

Yesterday Sarah took Mom, Lee and I out to dinner at the Mandarin in Barrie. It was really nice. I had sushi, and dumplings. :3 And strawberry shortcake for dessert. Usually Sarah really gets on my nerves, but I was actually fine with her last night. I somewhat taught her to use chopsticks... with um, questionable results lol.

Today Mom and I took a trip to the storage unit today to unload the few things that had to go there, and then went to the dollar store out by Walmart to look for beads and things. Maddie I have lots of beads for you, I'll be including them in the Christmas box. Happy super-late Birthday! :D

Tomorrow I have to get back into baking again, since I'm like five days away from Christmas. ><; I needed a break, and don't really feel like messing around baking all on my lonesome, so Lee says he'll help out some tomorrow to keep me company, and I can probably convince Mom to give me a hand as well. Yay.

Lee's doctor had him do a prostate cancer test; his results came back abnormal/suspicious.

Fuck.

Well, in three hours with the movers we got about 75% of my stuff moved. Everything that was coming to Mom's with me got moved, plus the futon and the treadmill, and the big set of shelves that were going into storage.

There's still some boxes and chairs and a coffee table that need to go to the storage place too, but we could only afford three hours worth of movers. >__>; So tomorrow Mom, Trunks and I have to move the rest, but it's all light and easy stuff so it's fine.

Now I've got all my furnature organised in my room, and my computer set up (even though it won't be Internet connected until Friday night). My TV/VCR/DVD player are all set up, but need to be connected. And most of my movies that I brought with me and my manga, and my clothes are organised as well. I still have a ton of stuff to move up from the basement and organise, but that'll take some time.

The rabbits are all fine and pretty much settled in, but I still need to buy some zip ties and put together the playpen area for them later this week. The cats are... upset. ^^; Tri spent seven hours (literally) hiding under the couch in the basement, and now he's out but cries every time I'm out of sight. Neko and Loki didn't hide for quite that long, lol, but now they're both following me around like they think I'm going to vanish any second. They're all going to be very upset with me when I put them in the basement for the night and close the door. >>;;

Anyway, tonight Mom and Trunks (Lee was feeling sick) and I went out to East Side Marios for dinner (I got calimari~), and then later on when we got home we watched House. Now I'm watching some Supernatural on DVD with Trunks, and randomly creating a D&D character with his character sheets, just for the hell of it. XD;; She's a druid, with a (male) dire rat animal companion, but neither of them have names yet.

I will likely never play her, but may use her in a story some time. Plus, she was fun to create. ♥

Still packing and organising. I got the NIC cage taken apart today as well (I have a huge blister from it! D:), so where it was along the wall I've moved packed boxes to, to try to make it easier to move around in here. Ugh, it's so cluttered with boxes and bags and tubs of stuff that it's a labyrinth.

Anyway, tomorrow I have to take the NIC squares downstairs and give them a rinse off to get rid of any dust/dirt/leftover bunny hair, and then I can pack them up too. I'm not getting rid of them, because when I find a place to move to away from Mom's, I plan to put it back together again.

But before I can do any packing of NIC stuff, I have to actually drag more boxes up from the garage. -__-; Last time I brought thirty up (I think), and I had to leave half of them in the main stairwell because my back seized up on me. Bringing more of them up is going to cripple me. But it has to be done.

I do wish my back would stop hurting though. Unfortunately, because of my PCOS, I've had back problems for years, and lifting really does me in. Not to mention my knees and wrists. UGH I HATE LIVING ON THE TOP FLOOR WITH NO ELEVATOR.

...on Sunday, apparently, Lee is coming over with the van and we're going to be making a big trip to the storage unit for everything that I've got ready for there, and then a big one to their place as well. That will help immensely in clearing out space to maneuver in here. >>;

The cats are all kind of wtfing right now, they don't know what's going on or what to think of it. They seem to be coping rather well though. ♥

Oh, and so are Pan and Angelina. They got put into the bigger cage together a few days ago and there were absolutely no problems. I knew there wouldn't be, considering how friendly they were with each other already, but Sarah was really worried about it for some reason. So she's going to take Pan with her, since she and Angelina are so happy and chummy together.

I cracked my head last night, on the headboard of the bed. So hard that I don't know if I fell back asleep after that, or blacked out. .__.;

Today has thusfar been spent out running around; Mom and I went to the petstore to look at rabbit cages, since the NIC cage isn't going to fit at Mom's. I thought I would have to split the girls up again, but I actually found a extra large My First Home cage that should be alright, so long as I make sure to  let them out to play every day. It's much smaller than their old cage, but for now it will have to go. I feel bad about it, but I'm not getting rid of the NIC supplies, so that when I have my own place I can just put it back together.

( Pauper, Phoenix and Pantom are currently WTFing, but they'll get over it. )

Then we went to Walmart, where I got a ton of packing tape and tissue paper for wrapping things that I don't want to wrap in newspaper. After that, we went back to Mom's place so that she could talk to Lee about some things, and then we went to look at storage units. We found one that was great, so we put a downpayment on it; the woman was even nice enough to give us the rest of October for free so that we can start moving all my things in there gradually over the next month. I need to pack in a way that anything I don't need will be put into storage. So most of my books and half my movies are going to be there, along with my encyclopedias, some of my anime, and a ton of furniture.

...then Zellers, for a lock for the storage unit, then back home. I put the new cage together and transferred the girls over to it so that I can take the NIC cage down and pack it away tonight (or possibly tomorrow). SO BUSY.

Also, if my brother calls to gloat at me about having Tales of Symphonia one more time, I may have to maim him. :D

So today my brother randomly took Mom, Lee and I to Medieval Times in Toronto. :D

On the way home from AN last month Mom mentioned it to me, apparently he just decided he wanted us all to go. Haha. And he paid for us all too. O__O; It was so expensive! But my brother has these weird, random generous moments sometimes, lol. It was supposed to be a surprise so I pretended I didn't know where we were going until he told me, since he seemed so excited about it. ^^;

Anyway, they picked me up around 4:30 and we got to the place about 6-ish, then stood in line for 20 minutes or so before we got inside. The show didn't start until 7:30, so we looked through the giftshop and the medieval torture museum. I wanted this cup that's shaped like a horse, but you could only get it if you bought a drink, so Mom got a Sprite or whatever so I could have the cup when she was done. XD;

Then I found a pendant I really liked, and my brother bought it for me, and then afterward I found out it cost $70 and somewhat flipped out. ><; I mean, I appreciate it and all, but! BUT! *pets it* It's a half-heart with a moon, three blue stones, a flying owl and some feathers. I luff it. But I feel guilty. -w-;; I'll have to get him something spectacular for Christmas this year. >>;

The show itself was fun. I took a bunch of pictures, but the lighting wasn't great so I have to take them to Mom's and mess around with them on her PC to fix that, since she has some awesome photo editing programs. I'll probably post them on Monday night, if I can get them all fixed up by them.

We were cheering for the Red Knight, but he didn't win the tournament. D: The Black-And-White Knight won technically, but then he was backstabbed by the King's right-hand-man, and after that the Blue Knight and his squires took that guy on and won, so they declared the Blue Knight the overall winner. *shrug*

There were horsemanship and falconry displays, games and jousting, and hand-to-hand combat. Fun stuff. Like I said, photos later. None of the birds though, they asked us not to take pics then so we wouldn't freak them out. Also none of the wizard, because the lighting with him was freaky and too dark for me to get anything. .__.;

The food was alright. I had the vegitarian meal because the other meal was like... chicken, pork, and a potato. >>; The vegitarian meal was a stuffed portobello mushroom, a grilled vegetable kabob, and some pita bread, as well as the soup and garlic bread that everyone got as well. HAHA, no utensils was interesting. Not even a spoon for the soup. The bowl had a handle. XD;;

1) After getting my hair cut... it's even darker than before. xD; Normally, it's every colour of the rainbow because it bleaches in the sun. Starts off dark brown/black and ends up with several shades of red and brown, as well as blonde in it. But then when I got it cut/styled all the sunbleaching got cut off. So it's practically black again. Whoo? Mom says apparently you can already see a bit of lighter brown on the fringes.

2) Today was grocery day, and Mom had a ton and a half of coupons so we went shopping at Zellers for some stuff, too. :3 She got me a kit to put purple streaks into my hair. >3< (Though I'm not doing it til after my Haruhi cosplay at AN.) She also got me some hair clips, since I can't for the life of me find mine. ><; Dad got me some really pretty ones a couple years back but my hair was too long to use them, so I put them somewhere that I wouldn't lose them... and then forgot where said place is. >>;; Anyway, I got a few more. AND. I got a super pretty set of press-on nails to go with my Suigintou cosplay for the Masquerade at AN. :3 They're tipped in sparkly blue-purple with white lilies. I have pics of them (in the box still) that I'll share later. (I still need some matching eyeshadow/liner/lipstick for that costume too, but I guess I'll get it later.)

Also got another shiny-dangly for my collection. Spring is the best time to find them because everyone wants windchimes for their gardens and stuff. :3

3) Today I also had to get a new bank card, because I somehow lost my old one. >.< I don't know where I put it, but I can't believe I lost it! At least it was easy to replace.

4) Haha, a couple of Mom and Lee's friends, last time they were visiting them, found out I like b-grade movies. So they sent Mom home with movies for me! X3 Larva, Abominable and Mimic 3. I laughed sooo much when Mom gave them to me. Or maybe more like cackled. I've seen Larva and Mimic 3 before, but I hadn't seen Abominable. So I watched it tonight and it was awesome. XDDD Today I gave Mom Dragon Fighter and Soulkeeper to take to them. B-GRADE MOVIE (LENDING) TRADE OMG! With my parents' friends lawlwtf! XD;;

5) I possibly, maybe have found a new apartment. It's about the same cost as where I am now, but probably a bit smaller. It does have it's own bathroom and a small kitchen though, which would be a plus. I hate sharing. :P I called to ask about it and the woman even said she doesn't mind pets as long as the cats are on Advantage because they've had flea problems in the past and she doesn't want a repeat, which I can't blame her for. So I'm supposed to see the place later this week and see if it's suitable for me.

Sarah is all pissed off at me for it though. She's like "if you leave it puts me in a bad situation, I can't afford the rent here alone!" Well TS. She's been telling me for two years that as soon as her settlement money comes in she's leaving, and I've been panic-stricken because I had nowhere else to go when it happened. As it is, she's leaving in the fall at the latest, and if the place sells (the landlord is asking a quarter million for it, wtf he's an idiot, it's a piece of crap property), the new owners will likely want us out anyway so they can do renovations or whatever. I mean, the only reason I'm looking at this place now is because I'll probably never find another one that I can afford on disability. If I thought I could in six months I would. So fuck her if she's pissed that I'm leaving. This place is shit and bad for my health anyway.

6) ...anyway. >>; Tonight I couldn't sleep. Tch. What else is new? So I puttered around tidying and watched a couple movies instead. Now I'm finally getting tired, but I have to be up soon anyway so I can take the recycle/garbage out before Grandma gets here. BAH.

7) I'm supposed to be going to Grandma's place today and staying for a couple nights. I have an appointment with the naturopath again (what the hell, I'm getting annoyed with taking fifty pills and powders a day and getting no results, it's been four months ><;;) and everything. But I'm supposed to get a call about going to see that apartment in the next day or two, so I don't know if I should go or not. I mean, I guess I could get Sarah to take a message and call me at Grandma's when the woman calls, but she's so pissed at me right now I'm half-afraid she wouldn't bother just to screw me out of the apartment. >__<;

8) RPG Stuff. Mahiru is in a band with Riku, Asch and Axel. xDD;; I DIE OF LOLING. The poor girl really has no idea what she's getting into, I think. Though she gets along with everyone. I just think she's in for an eye-opener. XD;; And Hojo put Kadaj in the hospital a couple days ago... or at least, Kadaj went to the hospital finally. It only took four years. >>; So Seph picked him up and now I guess is going to apply for custody of him. Kadaj is kind of freaked out by the idea of actually having a life/freedom/friends/etc. Oh, and Seph and Yazoo are out to maim Axel, for various reasons. Kadaj wishes they wouldn't kill his friends. Seph wishes Kadaj has more friends who weren't sex fiends. (In AIM-verse, he's somewhat shacked up with Marluxia and quite pleased with that. Seph even says it's okay. Which shocks both of them, but makes Kadaj happy.)

1) On Saturday, Mom, Lee and I drove my brother to Toronto and put him on a plane to Vegas! 8D Whoot. He's going to be gone a month to visit friends in the States, first in Vegas and then in California somewhere. I told him to bring me keychains. <3

2) The same day, on the way home we stopped at the 400 Market and at Chapters in Barrie. :3 At the 400 Market I got a pair of sunglasses (which I needed terribly), a bunch of eyeliners in various colours to paint my eyebrows to match my wigs for AN and Otakon, a couple little t-shirts for Tet-chan (they were like window ornaments for cars or something? Oo; But they were the perfect size and only cost $1.50 each!) and a candy apple.

At Chapters, Mom spent like $120 on books and manga for me. O___O; I LUFF MY MOM! She got me a huge $30 Mythology Dictionary (note: *squee* <33), #10 of Ouran, #15 + #16 of Tsubasa, #18 + #19 of Furuba (they didn't have #17; Boo! Hiss! D:) and the first two volumes of Rozen Maiden. X33

3) Today we did groceries at 10 in the morning, and Sarah was "too tired" to go and got us to do her groceries for her. Then when we got home 2 hours later she was OUT. She was too tired to do her own fucking groceries, but had lots of energy for going out with friends! Then when I asked her about it, she was like "you've given your Mom lists and got her to do your shopping before, too, I didn't think it would be a big deal."

First; I did that ONCE. And I was SICK AS A FUCKING DOG at the time. I got her to pick up gingerale and pudding for me. And I didn't go out with my friends as soon as Mom had left.

Second; She does this pretty much every second week. "Oh I'm too tired, I didn't get enough sleep last night! I don't feel up to it, can you do it for me?" FUCK YOU SARAH. Last night I slept for like three hours, and I got up off my ass to do my own groceries.

GOD, SHE PISSES ME OFF SOMETIMES! ><;

5) Haha, RPG! We have a new Axel, which makes Demyx happy because he was getting rather bored and lonely lately. Axel also seems to get along well with Haru, which is bad for Kyo because they feed off each other and then Haru starts doing things like this. XDD

There is a Sohma-picnic thing planned for everyone to get together (tomorrow, I think?), and Kyo wants to bring Zelos because Zelos wants to meet everyone. Kyo is also going to Osaka with Zelos soon to keep him company when he goes for a shoot. In AIM-verse, Zelos has managed to convince Kyo to do a film shoot with him, but we'll see if it happens in RY or not. XD;

Not much to say about everyone else, except that in AIM-verse Kadaj has a little crush on Marluxia. He's a little confused about it, for various reasons. It may or may not translate into RY, but I think it might. ♥ Sephiroth DOES NOT APPROVE LAWL.

2) So... turns out C.A. is in Korea because Nova (the company she went to Japan under) like... crashed and burned. Seriously. It was this huge scandal where they weren't paying the teachers and everything. So she was selling stuff out of the apartment they gave her so she could buy food, and then disappeared for a while and showed back up in South Korea. O___O;

That's as much as I know, and I'm really seriously worried. I need to call her parents and see what's going up, if she's coming home or what. *fretfretfretfret* D:

3) Maddie and Chloe are having problems right now, which seriously sucks. (*fretfretfretmore*) I'm worried about them too... in fact, I'm running a collection box for them at Rizu, because we ♥ ♥ ♥ them and want to help. <3

5) I've been picking up odds-and-ends for my cosplay in the summer the last while, including a bunch of earrings for my AU!Demyx. >3< The stars came in today, and two of the ear cuffs came in yesterday. Two of the pairs of hoops arrived last week, but were sadly the wrong ones so I had to send them back. Now I have to wait for them to come in, as well as one more ear cuff and a messenger bag. Yep.

6) While we were out grocery shopping today Mom and I popped into Walmart, and we stumbled upon plastic tubs... CLEAR plastic tubs! :3 YEY. Mom bought me four of them lawl, and I'll probably need more before AN, but that'll give me a good start. Now I can pack some of my finished ponies away and make room for more as I finish them.

I also got a deep fryer because they were on the end of the aisle right by the plastic tubs, and on sale for $22. O__o; I was like *YOINK*. Though the only reason I did was because my GST money came in haha. XD;

7) Okay, so the Otakon trip has become slightly more, which is awesome as far as I'm comcerned since I've never been to the US at all before. X3 I'm going to Dayton, then taking the train to Baltimore with Maddie and Chloe, then one of the days we're going to DC to be tourists there, and on the way home, between Baltimore and here, I'm stopping for a night to bother cat_mcdougall. X33 And that's just what's been planned so far. Nevermind all the stuff in Baltimore and Washington that we've planned, the aquarium and everything. ^___^

Oh, but lipstickcat, what days are you going to be in Toronto? Just to make sure, so I can plan for that too. ^^

Hikaru is basically the same as last time I rambled about him. He and Kaoru are about to have crazy angst since Kao slept with Allen. ^^;

Demyx is all excited because Larxene and Marluxia are in town now, haha. But then he gets excited about everything. Also, he's met C.C. and Link when he went to visit Fate in the hospital, and is happy to have made new friends. He's also planning to go visit Axel sometime soon, since he hasn't seen him around much and Zexy keeps saying he must have died or something. XD;;

Yuki is the same as Hikaru, nothing much going on. I need to get him into something interesting so I can unleash his snark. lol.

Kyo is... oh God, the angst. FFS, he was supposed to be a fun snarky character to play dammit. But no~ he's all love triangle angstangstangst and stuff. Blegh. Though the AIM-verse SephxKyoxZelos is hot and made of awesome. Oh yes.

And finally, I took a 5th character because I fail. Except this time at least it's a GIRL. xD; lawl. We need more girls, seriously. So I took up Shiraishi Mahiru from Mikan no Tsuki (myluck_yourluck), because she's cute and fun, and has a pet bat named (creatively enough) "Mr. Bat" or "Batty". <3

9) Just called to talk to Dad, but he's working that weird shift again so he's in bed. So I talked to Lois for a couple minutes and asked how she was doing; she says much better, though not having use of her one hand is driving her nuts. I can imagine, lol. She also liked the pony I gave her for Christmas, so yey. :)

10) Tomorrow, Grandma is coming up around lunch time and her, me, Mom and Lee are going out for lunch. She's going to drop off some stuff, and pick up some things that need sewing, and see Mom's new furnature and everything since she hasn't yet and it's been 6 months since the place was painted and they got the new furnature and curtains. Haha.

11) And also, I didn't have a birthday party this year, but Ryuu-chan, Andy and Steve came by to visit, which was awesome. I hadn't talked to any of them in a while, but specifically Andy I hadn't talked to in like two years. He's so hard to get in contact with! ><;

Yesterday was our second Christmas. =D; The one with the extended family, at Uncle Len's place. Man, I was running on two hours sleep in two days and kept falling asleep and stuff. xD;

We all hung out and caught up for a couple hours, and then had dinner. The turkey was excellent and the stuffing was ZOMG!awesome, but Clare put bacon on the turkey to keep it moist so I had to take gravol a few minutes before I ate because I'm allergic to pork. Oh well, it was still yummy. lol.

Then we did presents, and I got $80 and two movies (Ratatouille and Evan Almighty) from Grandma, and in the round-about game we play I got a whole bunch of rechargable batteries and a recharger, which is AWESOME because I needed them for taking my camera to Otakon in the summer. :3 Grandma also gave me my birthday gift, which was a $100 gift card to Zellers. YEY.

Mom, Lee and I didn't stay there really late because I was fading fast, but we hung around for a while longer to have dessert (I didn't have much because I wasn't feeling well for various reasons, but I brought a whole bunch of stuff home XD;); Grandma always makes these lemon bars that everyone loves, and this year she made pecan pie bars too that are just to DIE FOR. <33

Oh, haha, I brought Tetsuya with me to show him off to Grandma, and when they found out he was anatomically correct, her and both my aunts insisted on taking his pants off, and then checking to make sure he had nipples too. The poor guy had no dignity for the whole night. XD;;

As a side note to that, Aunt Brenda thought he was a Final Fantasy character until I explained about him. <3

Anyway, when we left I zoned out in the car on the way home (and Tet-chan hid in the bag because he really didn't want to talk to anyone anymore), and called Dad when I got home to say Merry Christmas.

Then I slept for... almost 20 hours. ^_^;

Then I got on AIM to chat with people, and watched Evan Almighty and Ratatouille on my PS2, and now I'm on to The Pursuit of Happyness.

I'm so glad the PS2 can play movies. I had to unplug my DVD player to hook it up, and this way I don't have to be constantly unplugging stuff and plugging it back in. If I want to watch a DVD I just use the PS2 and be done with it... though that makes my DVD player kind of pointless. I might pack it up and put it away so it's not just there taking up space... or something. Hmm.

Tonight was our immediate-family Christmas. Nothing special really. We had tacos for dinner! Haha, no real festive, but yummy nonetheless. We all <3 tacos, so it was good. Besides, we're having a big turkey dinner on the 25th, so no point in having one today too, right?

After dinner we opened our gifts, which was nice. Even the dog got presents! A squeaky snowman plushie to play with and some chicken-flavoured chew bones. :)

My brother got a really fancy desk chair since he spends so much time at his PC. It's nice and comfy and way better for his back than the old kitchen chair he's been using. He also got some puzzles, and a mister that's a dragon looming over a pool witha huge crystal ball.

Lee got a whole bunch of movies, but he also got an electric-acoustic bass guitar that he's been wanting for a while now. He was really happy with it. Not that it was a secret that he was getting it, it was a pretty obvious shape lawl.

Mom got a couple of movies, and almost $400 in gift certificates to various stores from people, since she wants new clothes. The two of us are going to go out shopping together some time after Christmas. ^^ And Lee got her a pair of diamond earrings. X3 They're so pretty and sparkly~!

As for me... my brother got me a slimline PS2. O___O PLUS a spare controller and some memory cards gfdshguiahgufdshgdkljhl;lk! Ehe, and Mom and Lee got me both Kingdom Hearts games~~ >3< I started playing the first one a bit while I was at their place, and I am IN LOVE. SRSLY.

I also got some movies; 28 Weeks Later, The Persuit of Happyness, The Invisible and Disturbia, and a MAMMOTH teddy bear that's like as big as I am. HE'S GINORMOUS. XD; I named him Everest and he takes up almost my whole couch bwahaha.

I'm glad everyone loved their stuff... and feeling a little selfish because I love mine so much. XD; Christmas is normally about the giving for me, but this year I'm all FWEE KINGDOM HEARTS! and stuff. lol.

Oh, and before dinner I played Trunks' Game Cube a bit, his The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess game. lol, I don't play video games much (or didn't, anyway), and I was used to the controls for the 64 Zelda games. The Twilight Princess controls are much more sensitive, so I kept running Link into walls, especially when he was on Epona. XD;; D'OH!

It was fun though. I told him I wanted to borrow it some time to play the rest, and he said only if I lend him my PS2 and KH. lol. <3

I got my eyebrows waxed today. Owwww~ I hadn't had them done in forever and I wanted to before Christmas so I'd look alright in photos, assuming some are taken. They always are. >>;

Also, today Dad emailed to let us know that he won't be up on Sunday. -__-; He's coming next weekend. Anyway, Sunday Mom, Lee, Trunks and I are doing Christmas anyway. It's the only time we can all get together, because of my brother's schedule and Mom's. Bah.

Today has been tiring. -.-; Just a lot of running around, and me not feeling 100% on top of that. Ahh, December is always like this!

Mom and I had an appointment out of town just after one, so she picked me up around noon-ish; or at least that was the plan. She actually ended up getting to my place early because she'd picked up Lee's Christmas gift, and wanted it to be a secret so she asked if I could stash it at my place for her until Christmas Eve. lol. It's a guitar! :3

Then we went up to Gravenhurst to the Chiropractor. Normally he works on my wrists/hands and jaw, but today he couldn't do much with my jaw because it's still really sore from all the needles at the dentist on Tuesday. >>; He did, however, fix my hip, which is awesome as it's been pressure-sensitive for about a week now.

On the way home we stopped at the mall so I could look for MLP at Zellers (I still hold out the vain hope that I might actually be able to find the winter series ones without having to go on ebay), and then to the book store where I picked up some books for cat_mcdougall's older kidlings. (Note for Cat: I'm sending the reciept with them when I mail everything, so if they already have them or you think they're not appropriate you can take them back and buy them something else. ♥)

After the bookstore, I zipped into San Diego and found my brother's Christmas present (FINALLY!) It's a mister, you know the things you fill with water and plug in, and they make mist. I have one from last Christmas that I asked for, but his is actually way cooler. XD; It's a blue dragon looming over a pool-- you fill the pool with water, and in the middle of it is a crystal ball. *mibble* I wants it~~! lol. <3

After that, we stopped at Mom's place so I could start my laundry, then dropped Trunks off at work and made a quick side-trip to Sui-chan's place so I could drop off her Christmas present. She wasn't home, but her brother was, so he said he'd give it to her. Haha, I hadn't seen him in about five years and he's grown so much! XD;

Then we did grocery shopping, and while I was at it I bought a whole whack more Gingerbread Spice tea, because it's LOVE and I know it won't be available after Christmas time. lol. I want to send some to people in the next packages I put together, but if I can't get more next week I might not be able to. >>; I also want to send some Pumpkin Spice tea too, because it tastes/smells like pumpkin pie. XDD

Aaaand now I'm back at Mom's, waiting for my laundry to dry so she can take me home. =D;

...man, working on her computer just makes me realise how behind the times mine is. Mostly because this one has a dual processer, and mine only has a single one; plus, the one I do have has been acting up lately, and doesn't like to do pretty much anything faster than a snail's pace. Gah, if I'd known it was going to die on me like this, I would have asked for a new one for Christmas or something. D:

EDIT: ALSO! Someone help me think of a good journal name for Eiri Yuki! ><; I picked him up as my fourth character over at rizumikaru_yomi, but I haven't been able to do anything with him because he doesn't have a journal yet and I fail at making one. ;o;

So today I ended up going to Kempenfest with Mom and Lee after all... I didn't know if I was going to, even right up until 9 this morning, and they were picking me up at 9:30. At the very last minute I decided I was going to, and I guess it was probably good for me to get out. Even if it was stupidly hot and sunny. >>;

I'm glad I remembered to bring sunscreen. Even with it on, I burnt a little across my nose and cheeks and the back of my neck; and I have a really bad burn in a thin line where my hair is parted, because I couldn't really put sunscreen there. xD;; But that's livable. My lips are really chapped, though...

From 10:20-ish when we got there until 2:30 we wandered around the booths and listened to some of the music. Mom got soap, haha. And there was a booth that was selling jars of teas, and she bought me a jar of Cranberry Cream tea; only one jar because they were $10.00 each. Her soaps were $4.50 each though so I don't feel so bad. lol.

Lee carried Possum around in his little carrier... you strap him in, and then carry him like a purse. I meant to take a picture because it's really hard to explain, but I completely forgot until about ten seconds ago... >___>

Mmmm... last night I didn't sleep much, between one thing and another. I only got about four hours. Then I spent a bunch of hours out walking in the heat... and I am so freaking tired now.

I fell asleep when I got home, and I'm afraid I missed Steph on AIM, even though I didn't mean to... -__-;

Or she just wasn't on, which is a possibility... I wouldn't blame her...

Right. I'm such a fucking idiot.

My eyes hurt...

I'm supposed to go to Kempenfest with Mom and Lee tomorrow, but I don't really want to go anymore. I probably will anyway. I was planning on taking pictures to post.

I can't be bothered posting my photoblogging pic for today, so I'll post it tomorrow along with any others that I manage to take.

It's 10:30 at night, and I'm just now getting around to making lasagna for dinner. >>; I fail, wow. It'll be done at 11:30. But I'm not super hungry, so I'm in no big hurry.

I already did a bunch of cooking today anyway; I made an 11-quart pot of Split Pea And Ham soup for Mom and Lee. I don't even eat pea and ham soup; I'm allergic to ham (anything from a pig, actually), and I haven't had pea soup since I was about three.

I had some then and inhaled a piece of pea husk, and ended up in the hospital... and have avoided it ever since. When I was younger I was afraid to eat it, and now I just don't like the taste. I guess it's an accuired taste? And since when I was little I didn't eat it, now I find it kind of gross. At least I'm not afraid of it anymore! xD;;

So I cooked it up and tomorrow or the next day I'm going to get one of them to come over and get it. I made the stock with the big knuckle bone from the last time Mom and Lee had a ham (I saved it and some meat specifically because Lee asked about soup and made his equivallent of wibbly eyes at me), and then when I was done I gave the bone to Kori. There was a bit of marrow still in it, and a few pieces of gristle, and he made the cutest little *.* face ever. Then he hunched over it in his cage and glared at Neko and Loki, because they were over sniffing at it through the bars. lol.

Tomorrow I'm gonna make a black forest cake! *loves her cooking/baking omg* =3
