Ahh~ two more days until I can pick up the keys for my apartment! That's not a lot of time! D8

Gah, I'm completely out of boxes and still have more to pack. But on Monday like I said, I'm picking up my keys, and then on Tuesday morning Mom is dropping me off before she goes to work. I am taking cleaning supplies just in case, and will spend at least until noon there because the Rogers guy is coming to install the Internet between 8am and 11am.

When I moved out to room with Sarah, I didn't get the 'Net installed for a few days after I moved because I didn't schedule it until after I'd moved in. I went NUTS without Internet access for that amount of time, so this time I made sure to schedule ahead of time. XD; IDK I WIN?

...whoa, the sleeping pills just hit me WHAM right this second. @_@;;

Moving is expensive. -_-; I'm more than broke; Sarah even gave me $100 (tldr; she got a bunch of money from ODSP because they were underpaying her, and wanted to share the wealth, so she gave $100 to everyone in the family) and I still have no cash. She gave it to me today when we picked her up for groceries, and I spent it all, and all but $10 on things related to moving/stocking up the kitchen/cleaning supplies/etc. I did buy myself a plant (twisty bamboo!) and one pack of beads.

But once I'm settled and have all the basics in the house it should settle down. *fingers crossed*

LMAO had a massive The X-Files marathon yesterday and last night. XD; Almost all of the fourth season. I skipped a couple eps that I found boring originally, but I watched most of them. ♥♥♥

EDIT: OH, and I got some stuff for packages for Steph and Mari today. Kraft Dinner comes in different flavours now. ._.;

Ugh, someone beat my wireless with a stick or something for me? For about four days now it's been acting up, cutting out a lot. Basically it doesn't work for more than half an hour or forty-five minutes at a time. -__-;;

Anyway.

Yesterday I watched Splinter. It's about these people who are attacked by a parasitic organism and end up trapped in a gas station. The organism itself takes over people's bodies and basically forms quills/splinters inside them and breaks them down in the most painful possible way, then eats their blood. Awesome. It was really good, and unique as well. Here's a trailer for anyone who's interested:


I've also recently watched the new Transformers movie. ASDGH TRANSFORMERS = ♥♥♥ I know that die hard fans were really disappointed by it, but I loved it. I grew up with Transformers, but I can still watch the new movies and look at them as completely separate from the original TV series. A lot of people can't do that, unfortunately. *shrug*

And now I'm watching the new Ice Age movie. I'm a horrible downloader. But I'll be buying all these movies on DVD after Otakon at some point anyway, lol. XD;

Also, Otakon is coming up so fast! I keep having random panic attacks about the airport since I've never flown anywhere before. DX I know it'll be fine, but I keep going dgahdfuaigh what if I get lost or miss my flight or something? >.<;; Note to self: Stop being such a spaz over the whole thing. >>;

1) I have seven piercings in my ears, and all seven are infected right now. Two on my right ear were bothering me a bit yesterday (oh crap, it's 4:49 am so I guess it was two days ago) and when I got up this morning it was way worse and every one of them is all inflamed and swollen and sore. >.<; I hate being allergic to metals. Every couple months my ears flare up because of it. I'll have to dig out my silver hoops to wear to keep the piercings open until they heal again. -__-;

2) Sinus infection. I still has it. Bah. In fact, need more pills after I'm done this entry.

3) On Wednesday, I was hit on by a deaf man. SO AMUSED, because the whole thing was pantomimed because I don't know sign language beyond the basic alphabet. XD It was epic and awesome. Too bad he was like twice my age. >>;

4) Still unpacking, but I'm well on my way to being done. THANK GOD. I'm so sick of not having everything organised. I like clutter (I'm not really comfy unless there's clutter because of being bi-polar and borderline OCD) but I HATE mess and right now that's the point I'm still at. DX

5) Yesterday, the cable guy came to install the digital outlets and everything. I have cable in my room now! ANIMAL PLANET! \o/ DISCOVERY CHANNEL! HEALTH CHANNEL! SPACE! I just need the Anime Network and I'll be set. :3 And the ability to run cable Internet to my room now, WHICH I AM DOING ASAP NEXT WEEK. FUCK YOU WIRELESS.

6) Sora is settling in well, he's eating and drinking fine and getting comfy with his cage and everything. He's still a little nervous though, which I expected. ♥ He likes to sit with me while I watch TV, in the crook of my arm~

6) Tonight was the night everyone poisoned Rufus at RY. Kyo got in on that because he's the head of security (other than the Turks). In evacuating the building he got gassed a little, but it's no big deal really, he's just coughing because of it. However, he got stuck with Agon for most of it, and Agon out of nowhere told him about his thing with Zelos. ;A; Kyo is pissed off, and heartbroken again, and now if he keeps working at Shinra he has to deal with both Sephiroth and Agon. I can see him quitting some time soon. For the time being he's going to stay with Vergil and Dante, since he lives with Zelos and doesn't want to go back there. ;__;

7) Mel, Bonnie and I are working on a new, as-of-unnamed fantasy rp. It's going to be AWESOME. That's all on that for now.

8) Must get my Taedium Vitae and Moulin Noir apps finished this weekend! >| <-- determined faise!

Health: Still sick. Need more sinus meds. Was extremely bad yesterday. I had a high fever most of the day. Today it's intermittent, but more not-feverish than feverish. So that's a step in the right direction.

Halloween: Meh. We bought two boxes of little chocolate bars, and then had a total of twelve kids come by. Pfft. >>; So we have 183 bars left over. XD;; I didn't dress up, but I almost used it as an excuse to flounce around the house in my Suigintou cosplay for the night. If I wasn't so tired and sick I would have done it. Too bad, but oh well.

Internet: After Mom got home from work yesterday she, my brother and I went out to the bank and then to Future Shop so I could get my PC set up for wireless. I also got an optical mouse while I was there. When we got back, we had dinner and then I got Trunks to help set it up... and the optical mouse killed my disc drive for some reason. ><;;

So I had to take the whole tower downstairs to hook it directly to the Internet there so that I could download the software I needed for the wireless to work directly from the website (as with no disc drive I had no way to read the software cd.) Everything seems to be working alright now, though the Net died once and I had to spaz at my brother to fix it because I'm a noob at wireless. ^^;

I'm taking the mouse that fucked up my disc drive in on Tuesday and getting my money back. I'll have to take the PC in to have the drive fixed eventually, which pisses me off. But for now I can use the computer without it. *sigh*

Unpacking: Still working on it. So much unpacking to do. But I've got all the important things set up, including my TV/VCR and DVD Player (also, my PS2/Game Cube), so the rest can be done over the next week or two. I'll take photos to show my downgrade to a single bedroom once I find my camera.

Good news: MOVING FINISHED. It took three days, but I am officially done with that place! HAH. Still unpacking, obviously. The cats are much more comfy here now, though Tri is still very jumpy. He'll settle in though. Also, today I actually had the dog and Neko in my lap at the same time, which is a miracle, as Possum is afraid of other animals. >>;

Good news 2: My brother sent me a link to episode one of Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. I am intrigued.

Good news 3: ;>.> <.<; I'm getting a rat again. Possibly tomorrow, but probably next week.

Neutral news: INTERNET TOMORROW. HOPEFULLY. I have to buy a card thing for my PC, and then my brother says if he can he'll install it for me. I'm actually going to be piggybacking on Mom's router. Anyway, if Trunks can't install it, I'll have to take it to the corner, in which case no 'Net until Monday at the earliest. So hopefully he can.

Bad News 2: Sinus infection. -__-;; As soon as it gets cold my immune system officially goes to florida or something. Not that it's super active normally anyway. But still. My head is throbbing, my sinuses hurt and I've used up a whole box of kleenex just today. ><; If it doesn't go away soon though, I have an appointment with the doctor in three weeks anyway.

And now I'm off to medicate myself to the eyeballs and try to actually get a decent night's sleep. Whoo.

...I didn't sleep at all last night. ><; Or, I did, but only for like three hours.

When I put the cats in the basement for the night, they spent about two hours straight wailing for me so finally I decided I'd just sleep downstairs with them for the first night until they were settled in a bit more. But then all three of them wouldn't leave me alone to sleep, so finally around 3 I went upstairs and left the basement door open so they could join me and explore a bit while everyone else was asleep.

Unfortunately, moving from the basement upstairs woke me up completely, so then I spent another three hours working on unpacking and watching Vipers on the computer. Finally around 6 I managed to get to sleep, and then had to get up at 9:30 to go back to the house and do more moving. DX

It was just me and Mom today so we didn't get it all done, but we got quite a bit finished, and can probably finish the rest tomorrow night. We also emptied out the fridge of all my perishables and brought them over here. Tomorrow there are some cupboards to move, a bar fridge, the microwave and stand, and some carpets. Then I have to sweep and mop and gather my cleaning stuff to bring back here, and we'll be done.

Anyway, after two trips to storage today, we came back and puttered around for an hour until it was time to pick up Sarah for groceries. lol, there's not much we needed to pick up because all my food came over here with me, but there were things like milk and pepsi (and coke for me, since I don't drink pepsi :P), and Halloween candy. Plus I needed to get a new lamp, zip ties, an extension cord and some sinus decongestants. Bah.

Aaaaand today the cats seem much more comfortable, especially in the basement. They haven't cried all day, and earlier I was downstairs with Mom and Lee and there was a cat in each lap, perfectly happy. I'm glad, I was really worried how they would be for the first bit here.

Still not Internet on my own PC. Using Mom's for email and aim a bit, and using mine for music and movies. Getting a wireless router on Friday. CAN'T WAIT FOR IT OMG. >.<; Now I also have to hook up the TV and everything still, but other than that I'm good electronics-wise. I still have a lot of books and my anime to put away, but I think most of my movies are out, and all my manga is. I also have to organise and pack all my craft supplies away, but I can't really do that until everything else is done. :P

Now I'm attempting to chat with Kiin, whilst my brother sits three feet away playing D&D with his friends. UGH I WANT INTERNET ON MY OWN PC NOW DAMMIT.

I just realised, I'm so out of it from all the stupid moving stress that I'm developing a twitch again. =__=;; Last time that happened was when I was working at Tim Hortons. How fucking irritating.

Today Dad called to chat, and recommended a bunch of movies to me that he'd heard were good, so I downloaded a couple to give them a try. I watched Eye of the Beast (giant squid~) and Croc (maneating... well, croc. ._.) earlier, and they were really good. Now I'm watching The Cry (which I've had for two weeks and not watched yet, wtf self) and trying for the second time to download Grizzly Rage. It doesn't seem to want to unpack after I download it. What a pain. Vipers is doing the same thing, too. :P

Tomorrow is the last day before I move on Tuesday. I have to finish packing up the kitchen, and the TV/VCR/etc., then Tuesday morning I have to get the critters all ready to go, and deal with my PC. After that, I'll probably be offline for a day or two, until I can get a wireless router on Thursday or Friday.

Once all this is over, I'll be very relieved. I've almost lost it a couple times now because of all this, and I haven't stopped shaking in three weeks, I've pulled every joint in my body, and I've had a migrane non-stop all this time too. I'm exhausted, and completely emotionally drained. I hate my life.

Now. OMG. I actually got a decent night's sleep last night. Granted, only because Mom gave me some codene for my back and shoulder, but still. Codene is lovely, did I mention that? ♥

I have to bring more boxes up from the garage tonight, preferrably before it gets dark. But my back does still hurt some and I know as soon as I start trying to carry them up the stairs I'm going to regret it. >>; Still, it needs to be done. Le sigh.

At least I'm mostly done packing now, it's just the things I have here that I need to throw into a box on the day I'm leaving (like my clothes, my meds, my alarm clock, etc.), and kitchen. I still have to pack up all my dishes and appliances, and all the food in the cupboards. Not looking forward to that.

Oh, also, depending on how it goes when I actually move on the 28th, I may be pretty much offline until at least the 31st, or the 1st of November. When I get to Mom's place, the only way I can have Internet on my PC is if I buy a router and hook into the house network, so until I can get out/have the money for one, I'll have to do without, or just borrow Mom's PC for checking email and etc. D: Sucks, but I don't really have a choice. And I mean, at least no Internet would make me focus on organising and unpacking there? xD;;

Yesterday I went over to Mom's to cook for them and after we'd had dinner I played my brother's game cube a bit... turns out I'm fail at Symphonia the same I'm fail at every other video game. XD; But that's okay. I twas still fun, even if Colette spent 90% of the time dead. >>; The battle system for that game is really different from what I'm used to, and so is the controller. I had to keep pausing to look for the right buttons. >.<; But it was fun, so I'm still looking forward to getting my own copy. ♥

Trunks drives me nuts though, every time I play a game, he's like "hey, look, do you want me to show you the cheats/easy way to do it?" and I have to tell him no. I may fail epically at video games, but I still enjoy doing it myself and figuring things out on my own. Whereas he gets frustrated easily, and is constantly online looking for cheats and walkthroughs. CONSTANTLY. Two different ways of doing it I guess. ^^;

The 'Net at Grandma's works! This means I won't have to go through total withdrawl! =D

I wasn't on the computer all day today. It was weird, haha. XDD;;

I was at Mom's most of the day, she had a huge bag of rhubarb that she got from Grandma's yesterday that we spent a bunch of the afternoon cleaning and chopping to freeze. YEY frozen rhubarb. Now I have everything except blackberries... but I never get them, so on well. They're expensive and there's nowhere nearby to pick your own. ;-;

So after rhubarb, Mom and I wandered up to the corner where there's a huge dollar store and looked for craft-y stuff. Originally I wanted a couple new paintbrushes, but then I was like \o/ CRAFT SECTION and ended up with like twelve things; river rocks to paint, and felt for teeny-tiny teddy bears (I'll explain more about those later), and a tweezers set among other things~

Sarah fucking called me this morning and woke me up to tell me that everything is fine back at home.

Also, I hate this stupid gddamn 'Net connection. It's AWESOME when it WORKS, but it hasn't worked pretty much at all since last night, with the exception of about a half an hour last night in the middle of the night. I'll be lucky if this post goes through at all. And because of this, I missed Cassandra-san this morning. AGAIN.

*mutters*

Well, last night I did dishes and stuffed some of my many stray pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals into garbage bags. Then I was up all night (yay insomnia!) and got to sleep around 7 or so... then got back up around 10, and set about cleaning critter homes, transferring bunnies around into different cages, and then moving everyone downstairs to the back room, with the exception of the cats, and Phoenix and Pauper.

Then I cleaned up the apartment; all the usual cleaning, plus in the places that I can't normally get to because of cages and terrariums being in the way. I also covered the big rabbit cage with some sheets, since I can't actually move it without taking it apart-- Phoenix and Pauper are now in the cage that Phantom usually inhabits, and Phantom went back into her old cage, just for the time being.

This is all in preparation for tomorrow, when I'll be spraying Raid all over the damn place in an attempt to lessen the number of freaking insects that are crawling around right now. :P

There's still some small things I have to do before I can actually spray, like pack up any foodstuffs, and seal off the cabinet with my dishes, and cover the couch/chairs, but that's going to wait. The food and dishes I might do tonight, but the couch/chairs shall happen tomorrow, so that I can still use them until then...

Tomorrow morning, Mom and I have an appointment with the Chiropractor, then when we get back into town we have some errands to run, since tomorrow is the last day before she and Lee head off on their vacation out west. After that, we're coming back here and loading all my stuff-- and the cats' stuff, and the rabbits' stuff, and the cats, and the rabbits-- into the van, and I'm going over to her place to stay for about a week and a half. ^^

I'm looking after Possum (which I've mentioned before, I'm sure several times) while they're gone, and I don't mind staying there. Neko, Tri and Loki are coming with me, as was always the plan... Phoenix and Pauper got added to the list of "coming with" a couple of days ago, because Phoenix is going in to be spayed on Wednesday, and I want to be able to keep an eye on her afterward. And because she and Pauper are bonded (and practically attached at the hip, I might add), I didn't want to sepparate them for that much time...

Have I talked about Phoenix and the spaying?

I planned to have all my buns spayed as soon as I could, starting with Phantom, since she's the oldest of them, and was saving up the money to get her done, with general plans to have Phoenix and Pauper spayed probably some time around December or so.

BUT.

Phoenix started having phantom pregnancies-- I know I mentioned that before, since lipstickcat commented about her Ghost having phantom pregnancies, too. I wasn't too worried about it, since I planned to have her spayed anyway, and figured it wouldn't hurt her to wait for a couple of months. A fake pregnancy or two wouldn't be a big deal...

...until a few days ago, when I looked into the cage, and realized that, while nesting for nonexistent babies, Phoenix had ripped so much hair out of her hindquarters that she's now got two rather large bald spots, one on either hip. -_-;; Sigh. Having some bald spots won't kill her, but it's obvious she's not going to be able to wait until the fall/winter. (Also, she was building her nest in the litterbox, so both of them had started peeing in the back corners of the cage instead...)

Anyway, yeah. I talked to Mom, and she agreed to spot me the rest of the money to get her spayed now (since I don't have quite enough saved up yet). I called on Friday and made an appointment for this Wednesday coming up. Phantom was supposed to be first, but I guess these things happen. *shrug*

In any case, the only thing I'm sort of fretting about with going to Mom's is that their Internet connection is wonky sometimes. About half the time you try to use it, it won't connect, even though there's nothing wrong with the modem, and it says their LAN is working fine.

I need Internet... ;-; *wibbles* lol.

Mom's supposed to call Rogers and talk to them about it, but keeps making excuses "because she gets off work so late, when is she supposed to call??", even though the Rogers tech line is open 24/7. I called at 5 in the morning once, and got them to help me out. Mom just doesn't like calling about stuff like that. :P

So I'm bringing an actual journal (yes, I have one, even though it hasn't been used in YEARS), just in case, and I guess if I have too many problems, I'll just call and deal with the problem myself or something...

*gestures wildly toward her new modem and bounces*

My life... has meaning again. *_* I can stop going through horrible withdrawls now! I can check my email! I can chat with Cassandra-san! I can RPG if I ever get around to it! I can post stuff! On messageboards! Stuff that I couldn't post before because my computer wasn't hooked up to the Net!

I can... procrastinate even more over my NaNo entry!

...okay, so the (very slight) stutter isn't actually due to my lack of Net-connections. It's because of my Gods-damned job, the same as my NERVOUS TICK is.

Maa ne. I don't have a phone in my apartment.... because I'm sharing a line with the girl downstairs. But the person who lived here before me had their own line upstairs, so it god cut off when she moved (obviously) and now the line that used to encompass both floors is just on the lower level. Gah... I guess I'll have to get my own line after all, even if it is a huge waste of money, given the number of calls I don't get...

I work tonight and then I have the next two days off, during which I plan to do little other than work on Canadian Dragon, and possibly write a couple of scenes.

I've had a terrible urge to write a Kaida-and-Arashi scene over the last 24 hours or so. ^_^;;

Wore my black angel costume to work last night. ^^ Mel went as Superman. It was pretty amusing... her costume had muscles and everything! And the entire night was slow as hell--we had maybe twenty-five people come in all night. =_=;;

So... yesterday everything got moved over to my new apartment, except for my cats and my computer, and those are going today. I'm here now because I needed to feed Tri and Neko, and then Mom is taking me to do grocery shopping in a bit, or I would have just gone to the new place after work.

You know, it was kind of a nostalgic feeling when I got in the cab this morning--I was thinking this is the last time I'll be taking a cab there... "there" being the house I've lived in for about thirteen years. *sighs* It's a little sad, actually...

I get to spend the next two days unpacking! ^_^;;

...and I don't know when the Internet will be installed, so I don't know when I'll be back online permanently again. I'll borrow Sarah's computer or something to check in until then.

This makes me sad. Me lovey Internet. *_*

On the plus side, not having the 'Net to distract me will give me lots of time to work on Canadian Dragon, since the 2004 NaNoWriMo officially started almost six-and-a-half hours ago. ^^; Maybe I'll actually manage it this year!
